The peaceful suburb of Heritage Park is located in a bushland area 5 km south west of Logan Central and is popular with young families. Quiet cul-de-sac courtyard style homes can be found here along with prized executive style homes, particularly within the Bayliss Rise Estate. South east of Scrubby Creek near Browns Plains, the suburb’s green corridor location provides the perfect family environment.

Heritage Park gets its name from the original estate in the area known as Heritage Woods. Of great advantage to residents is the location of Heritage Park along the bordering green parks, Spurway Park and Koala Park. These two linear parks run along tributary streams flowing northwards from their origins in Park Ridge and have wonderful walkways and cycle paths offering opportunities for observation of natural plant and animal life as well as fitness and recreation.

96% of homes are free standing, with the balance comprising smaller units. The suburb is a popular suburb for owner-buyers and 56.5% of homes are under purchase, with a further 18.9% of homes under ownership. 20.3% of homes in the area are rented. Couples with children occupy 56.4% of homes in the area, and couples without children occupy 29.9% of homes, with a further 12.3% occupied by one-parent families. 79.3% of the population is under 49 years old, making this a youthful and energetic suburb.

The Mini Mees Child Care Centre is located within a green park area at the end of Bayliss Road and there are a number of popular school choices within the nearby suburbs of Browns Plains and Regents Park, including Browns Plains Primary School, Browns Plains State High School and Yugumbir State School.

The Regents Park Convenience Store offers residents a handy place to shop and the unequalled drive-in centres of Plains Junction, Westpoint, the Grand Plaza and the Village Square have an enormous choice of speciality stores including supermarkets, hobby shops, popular restaurants and eateries. The area is also home to a Logan City Library, the Birch Carrol and Coyle Browns Plains Cinemas and many other local services, including medical are available along Browns Plains Road.
